Beck's PFR Report | SelectShot (formerly Seed-Squirter) Technology | Join PFR location lead, Tyler Kilfoil, and Mike Schwegman, Field Tech Specialist with CapstanAG, as they introduce the new product Seed-Squirter. As input costs continue to rise but profits are on the decline, CapstanAG set out to come up with a product that would allow farmers to utilize every dollar that they put into their row starter system through accurate placement.
In this PFR Report, PFR location lead, Jared Chester and Mike Schwegman from CapstanAG are in the field at Beck's Ohio PFR site testing out the SelectShot (formerly Seed-Squirter) technology. This year, Beck's PFR will be testing this new technology in two studies at both the Ohio and Indiana PFR sites.

N-Ject technology is a simple, clever automatic "orifice" changer. No more need to change orifices for different rates or speeds.
Each toolbar NH3 outlet has its own PWM solenoid valve controlling that outlet flow which results in a low COV (coefficient of variance) across the implement independent of terrain. Thus, with accurate and even placement across the implement, immediate ON/OFF overlap control at each implement section, and a 25:1 variable rate range, N-Ject advances NH3 fertilizer application technology to keep pace with modern fertilizer application demands.
